Guys, I had a nightmare taking GMAT yesterday.
I went to the test Centre (Ranchi, India) and the authorities told me that there is a power cut. Finally I started my exam at 2:30 pm. I started my test and everything went smoothly for the first 20 minutes, after which there was a power cut. After 10 minutes the test resumed and then again there was a power cut,this time towards the end of the IR section. This distracted me a lot since I was losing about 1 minute every time this happened but I managed to pull through. During the break before the Quant section I told the delivery manager to do something about it. He finally switched off the AC on the pretext that it might be consuming lot of power. I had no choice. I was the only one giving exam at that venue.
Finally, I started my Quant section. I was ahead of time doing pretty well and was confident of getting a score of 50 atleast. Just 15 minutes before quant section could get over, power went off again. I was in the middle of a DS problem. I was completely baffled by now.Only one thought was going through my mind "Is this an exam or a mock or just a joke?" Finally power came after 30 minutes, but since the time was already 5:35 pm, the delivery manager offered me a cancellation. I agreed to him since I didn't want to imagine a situation when power goes off in the mid of a RC.
Also, there was one student taking test in the 10 AM slot and her exam also got cancelled.
And now, here I am waiting for a test reschedule but I urgently need it for next week. Please suggest me what to do!! I am thinking to call Pearson. Whom should I complain?
