Free Newton Sample GMAT Test

I missed 5 on Verbal section and they scored me 30.

30????

I missed question numbers #1,4,12,22,and 26.

The first question was a CR question and I believe one of the hardest I ever encountered.

Has anybody experienced something similar? I want to know if Knewton's scoring system is not flawed.

Likewise I missed 7 on the Quant section and got a 49. I do not disagree with that. I actually felt the Quant section was pretty close to the real thing.

The verbal was IMO around 25% easier than the real thing. However 5 wrong to get a 30???

As a result my overall score was 660. Let';s just hope that Knewton scores are 50 points lower than the real thing on average.

Also disclaimer:

Took GMAT 4 times so far and here are the actual Verbal scores in recent order : 36,35,41, and 34.

I have a feeling however that had I got the first question right on the Knewton Verbal section, my score would be in mid 30's. Still missing 5 and getting 30?
