I forgot to send in my official GMAT score report to the Harvard Kennedy School of Government by their deadline (today). I am applying to their joint-degree MBA / MPP program and have submitted my official score report to the Harvard Business School weeks ago but only today to the HKS.

HKS says official score reports need to be *received* by the deadline.

Will my application be rejected or my candidacy hurt significantly?

Thanks.

This is a good reason to call the admissions office--many candidates avoid making contact for fear of being identified, but this is almost always a bad strategy. Call them up and ask what can be done--you may just make a good impression in the process (but I would not use the language "I forgot"--just tell them the score did not make it in time).

good luck.

Very useful tip. I would never think of using a better word than 'forgot' in such situation. Thanks a lot!
