In this question, there's a need to show comparison between the Dutch Economy of Britain, France and Germany. Also, the Employment rate of Dutch which had remained well below is compared with that of other nations listed in the questions.

Option A- INCORRECT
There's a comparison issue. It seems that the economy of the Dutch is compared with the list of nations in the sentence which gives an incorrect intended meaning

Option B- INCORRECT
It compares the economy of the Dutch to the other nations listed in the sentence not in their economies.

Option C- INCORRECT
It has the same issue as option A and B

Option D- INCORRECT
This Option compares the Dutch economy to the economy of the nations listed in the sentence (thereby implying that the three nations share the same economy which is incorrect).

Option E- CORRECT
It compares the Dutch economy correctly to the economies of Britain, France and Germany.
