I think D.

A - The huge crowd at the football game cheered the team scoring the touchdown from the stands.

from the stands. should be located close to cheered. Here, because of incorrect modification, it seems that the team is scoring the touchdown from the stands.

B - The huge crowd from the stands at the football game cheered the team scoring the touchdown.

from the stands should be located close to cheered. Here because of incorrect modification, it seems that the crowd is from the stands rather than the crowd cheered from the stands.

C - Scoring the touchdown, the huge football game crowd cheered the players from the stands.

Scoring the touchdown is illogically modifying crowd.

D - Perfect.

E - Cheers arose as the football team scored the touchdown.

Misses vital parts of the original sentence.

I was confused between B and D.
I think I'll choose D because the crowd is not 'from the stands'

Initially, I'd chosen B..
