Firsy 10 questions experiment

I just performed a simple experiment in Quant section of GMATPrep

I took this section and answered first 10 questions correctly. I took about 50 min to do this and then randomly guessed all other questions.
My final correct answers were 15 out of 37.

Astounding result has come

Just 8 in 0-60 scale.

What does this mean? Following is what I think from my understanding so far

-First few questioned are not that important as I used to think & they carry almost same weight
-Which is preferable: getting few questions correct in a row or not getting few wrong in a row
-GMAT gives some point disadvantage for correct question that are answered by taking lot of time
-Only 40% correct answers is real bad for Quant

I took this test just to see how high difficulty level goes for Quant. It was quiet difficult for me after first 5
