The only way this could be C) goes like this

W:C = 5:2
C:M = 5:11

From1 (1) we only know the ratio of children:men i.e. 5:11 ; we dont know the number of men,women or children(no info given)

Insufficient

From 2) we know number of women < 30

No of women must be a mutiple of 5 so that number of children comes out as an integer

It could be 5,10,15,20,25. Our goal is to find the number of men.

In the numbers above the only integer that fits the ratio (meaning where all three numbers would turn out to be integers since we cant have a decimal value or fraction for the number of womwn,child or men) of women:choldren and children:men is 25

From here we can calculate the humer of children and then the number of men

just lost on the fact how u came to a conclusion that the number only because < 30 ..... is the mulitple of 5 ......
can u please explain ??

The ratio of women: children is 5:2. The reason why I said its a mutiple of 5 is because only then you can come up with an integer for the number of children. Its 25 women beacuse this would only make the ratios
W:C = 5:2
C:M = 5:11
