Hello,
I am a current student in ESSEC's MBA in International Luxury Brand Management, and I'd be happy to shed some light on the interview process. To start, I think it's important to keep in mind that each session is different and varies depending on the candidate and the panel. Typically, they will have prepared a few personal questions and industry-related questions. Personal questions are based on your CV, and can range from providing more details on your background to why you want to come to ESSEC for this MBA. As far as preparation goes, I would recommend taking some time to be sure you're up to date on current industry news. I would also try to have an idea of the sector you think you'd like to go into (fashion, cosmetics, etc.), and be prepared to discuss this. I was in a position of switching industries, and if that is your case, I would be ready to discuss the reasoning behind your switch. Essentially, the interview is a time for the panel to get to know you better and understand why you're so passionate about luxury, so try to let that shine through!
Good luck on the interview! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best,
Emily
