I too had just a couple days to peruse the Gmatfix website. I agree with most of what sparkz07 says except:

After browsing through this website I realized that practicing GMAT Prep1 5+ times to extract 700+ level questions was nothing but a waste of efforts and time.

I used GMAT Prep as not only a tool for getting a feel for the test, but also as a way to build stamina. I took the prep tests a couple times each, not only to extract higher level questions, but also to get my mind right for the duration of the exam. I felt as though I was benefiting just from the act of sitting and focusing for 3+ hours.

Everything else though that sparkz07 mentions I completely agree with.

I used the solutions engine to work on my weakness (work & rate problems). The option to choose the difficulty level and narrow your search to the area of your focus is great. The program allows you to select these options, and then take drill sets and mark/flag questions you are having trouble with (if you so choose). Doing this will throw those questions back into the pool so when you re-drill based on the criteria you already listed, you will see these questions again giving you a chance to reinforce what you just learned.

Video solutions were a HUGE help for me. I have been a self studier for this test the past 3 months, and I will admit, it is quite the task. Between answering the questions and reading/analyzing the solutions, sometimes the written explanations just don't do it for me. The video solutions show step by step the method Patrick uses to breakdown the question and then efficiently answer the question. This in combination with his written explanations have helped me in just the 4 days I have been able to use the program.

Given some more time with site, I know I could raise the bar a little higher for myself. It truly does offer a nice way to see real GMAT questions and allows one to do problem after problem after problem which is definitely the key for me.

Having said that...I am not quite to the 700 level yet (and am not expecting a miracle on Saturday - the BIG day) but I am hoping to make a statement and possibly slide into the online Fall program I am aiming for (little school in GA).
