I am trying to apply to an MBA program for Fall 2010.

Asian, Male, 30

I have been an entrepreneur in the textile industry for the past 5 years. I have a BSc - Chem from Univ. of Western Ont. with a very poor GPA. In total I have about 10 yrs work exp.

I was President of a student sports club while attending Western. I currently volunteer as well as plan to join Toastmasters (not sure if that would help - but it's something I want to improve on nonetheless).

Assuming I can score 700+ on the GMAT, what are my chances of attending Rotman, Ivey or Schulich?

Thanks for your time and any info that would increase my chances of acceptance.

Hi -

You have great credentials for the schools mentioned below, but its hard to gauge your candidacy into these MBA programs based on profile/stats, as much of the decision is based on your essays, LORs, interview performance. If you are concerned about your GPA, you may consider taking a few post-grad courses (such as statistics, accounting, calculus) to help adcom overcome any concerns they have over your academic performance.
