A farmer raises chickens and cows. If his animals have a total of 120 heads and a total of 300 feet, how many chickens does the farmer have?
(A) 50
(B) 60
(C) 70
(D) 80
(E) 90

x- chicken; y- cow

x+y=120 ----- 1
2x+4y=300 ----- 2

Solving we get x=90 chicken
