My recommendation would be to redo some of the books, especially the OG. In studying again, remember that QUALITY matters, not necessarily quantity. By this I mean that when you're working on questions, really try to take the time to understand why a correct answer is right and a wrong answer is wrong.

Now that you've seen what the actual testing conditions are like, you can be better prepared for that as well. Try to get a good night's rest before the test (last minute cramming rarely works for a test like the GMAT), and good luck!

Hang in there man. I failed it too, got 400 the first time. Totally my fault though for not studying. You really have to dedicate about 3 months at about 8 - 10 hours a week, to get at least 550 or more. Buy some extra materials than just OG.

You cant do something well that you hate Try to enjoy it, its hard but really try to be enthusiastic about it, make it a game b/c thats really all it is.

Hey man! Don't be discouraged. Only with practice will you eventually do better ... ofcourse and better materials.

I suggest getting the OG 11th Ed, and actually successfully completing it, get the Supplementary OG for more practise. The Manhattan set of books and Princeton Review. That's what I am doing now.

First attempt (only OG, had under than 2 months to do it, you can say very ill-prepared and scored a 450)

Second attempt (OG and supplementary books) 490

Third attempt (all the aforementioned books and scored a whopping 620. Ofcourse this is not what I want as I am re-doing it again to get closer to the 700 range. But it is at least better than when I started.

Pick yourself up, and sit at that desk and you'll make it. Everyone around you can sympathize with you, but that's not enough to get your score. You have to be determined, and sit back at your desk and attack and you'll do it my friend. Beginning is half the battle!
