Just replace the unknown quantity "x" in the function and you will get the answer.
Over here,x=1/2
f(x)=f(1/2) = 9(1/2) + 9^(1/2)
=
9/2 + 3 = 15/2
Hey tsmith93,what was your doubt here???

f(1/2) = 9*1/2+ 9^1/2 = 9/2 + sqrt(9) = 9/2 +3 = 15/2
