(1/2)^24 (1/81)^k = 1/18^24 => 2^24 * 81^k = 18^24
2^24 * 3^(4k) = 2^24 * 3^(2*24)
-> 4k=48
k=12
IMO B

(1/81)^k = 1/18^24 : (1/2)^24 or (1/81)^k = (1/9)^24

(1/9)^2k = (1/9)^24, 2k=24 and k=12

(1/2)^24 (1/81)^k = 1/18^24
=> (1/2)^24 (1/3^4)^k = 1/(2.3^2)^24
=> (1/2)^24 .(1/3^4k) = 1/(2^24). 1/3^48
=> 4k = 48
=> k=12
