Hi LazyLark,

Don't mean to be a buzzkill, but I've seen a lot of frustrated students post 1000 series questions on here recently that seem to be testing concepts outside the GMAT umbrella, or are just plainly inaccurate. BTG no longer posts the series, and you probably won't find any tutor here who will recommend them. (https://www.beatthegmat.com/1000-scs-t27.html)

Your study-time is best spent with high-quality materials from MGMAT, Grockit, Kaplan, or another reputable company. Search BTG and you'll find numerous threads regarding this issue.

Thanks VivianKerr,
Does the material from Grockit has both quality and quantity. As being a non-native speaker, I need to go through a lot number of questions to grasp certain concepts when it comes to verbal.

Currently, for around every 5 questions I am attempting I am only able to get 3 right on an average.

As a tutor for Grockit, of course I will speak very highly of our materials :-) You can check out students' feedback here for some non-biases reviews: https://reviews.beatthegmat.com/grockit

Repetition is definitely helpful to grasp the concepts, especially for SC and Quant, but for RC and CR you'll really need a strong strategy. One advantage I do think Grockit has is that you can create a Custom Game using only the skill tags you want to focus on. So, for example, you could decide to make a game that focuses only on Medium-level Coordinate Geometry questions, and go through the entire Grockit question bank that way, mastering one skill at a time.

Regardless of whether or not you use Grockit, I would avoid 1000SC. Practicing from excellent books like Kaplan 800, MGMAT SC, and Powerscore CR would be preferable.
