I am planning for a career shift after a successful innings of 20 years in Army and Commanding an Army battalion. Is it advisable to go for a full time one yr Executive MBA at IIM-A, ISB, XLRI ..... (possible only after quitting the army) or do a PGP for senior execs in ISB while serving in Army and then quitting for smooth transition. I am M. Tech ( Electronics & TeleCommunications) from JNU and PMP from PMI,USA.
Are there any other pgme available which has a value in the industry and yet allow smooth shift in career.

I am not so sure about that but for MBA studies in India you should approach for the following colleges:

Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM)
Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad - IIMA
Aegis School of Business and Telecommunication
Cyprus International Institute Of Management CIIM
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore[/url]
