Dear Tanveer,

I'm afraid I don't have a lot of at hand information on which EMBA programs in the US and Canada would provide particular depth in MIS and operations. I do know that Georgia Tech has an excellent EMBA in technology management. Some EMBA programs at schools that are strong in operations and related disciplines are MIT and Michigan.

As far as when to start preparing to join a Jan 2011 start, now would be fine!

Best regards,
