Evaluate Please

by bibz » Mon Apr 28, 2008 5:31 pm
Hi,

I have just given the GMAT after quick 4 weeks of study (with job) as I wanted to apply for the fall term. I have prepared well but I guess that I messed my verbal in the exam. My scores are following:

GMAT : 640 [Q: 49; V :28; AWA : 5]
Experience: 11.5 years

Target: Schulich business school [part time weekend MBA Program]

I have performed well in my professional career and right now working as technical lead in one of the top telecom companies.

how do you rate my chances for part time mba program in schulich?

I appreciate your help in this regard.

thanks

Dear bibz:

The best way to evaluate your chances for a program is to measure your profile versus the current class' profile for the school. If you are generally at or above the average on GMAT, GPA, years of work experience, then your chances are probably pretty good. However, admissions decisions are not made "on the numbers" alone, so your interview, essays and recommendations have a significant impact on the final decision. If all of those things are strong and you feel present you positively, then you should feel good about your chance of admission.

Good luck,
Lisa
