Hello Everyone,

As you can see my GMAT isn't quite beaten yet, but I have started my studying for GMAT in November (in time for round 2!)

I'm hoping that some good essays as well as a unique profile will help me out. I'm looking into Oxford, Cambridge, HEC and INSEAD which are all top schools. I am a little concerned that my GMAT may be an issue but am hoping my profile is unique enough to get my foot in the door.

My story:

I've been in IT for my entire career and am looking for a change into management of a NGO (non-profit). I work for a medical device manufacturer and am fascinated by the products we build and the impact they make on people's lives. As such, I'm looking for an MBA that will bridge the gap between my IT and leadership experience and enable a career change into management for a non-profit healthcare company.

I know there are some MBAs that are better for non-profit/management than others, so I'm wondering if anyone on the boards can compare the schools mentioned above to let me know. I'm really interested in a diverse student body that's not just looking to make a killing in finance or consulting post-MBA.

My two questions:

1) If I have a shot at these schools with my profile
2) Any insight into which programs are better suited for this.

I know this is a tough question but if anyone has some tips on these schools it would be appreciated!!
