essay question

by Elad@Ready4GMAT » Tue Dec 06, 2011 6:18 am
Hi all,

Please share your thoughts on that:

I took the GMAT exam multiple times until I got a good score over a course of 2 years. Throughout this period, I studied a lot, changed approaches, worked on my weaknesses, but never let go.
I wanted to know if it's wise to write an essay in the application to describe a GMAT journey.

Thanks,
eladshush

Terrible idea! No, seriously :)
I think that other than the score yo get (which is hopefully sweet) the Adcom doesn't want to hear anything else about your GMAT. It's better if you can choose a story which would highlight other far more important aspects of your profile, like leadership, teamwork, initiative...

I understand.

I guess you are right. It's a risk I am not willing to take.

Thank you for your reply.
