I am applying R2 for 2009.
Is geographical location an acceptable reason for shortlisting schools? For example, I have some ties/restrictions to the Northeast, so I probably would not attend Stanford and/or Berkeley. Yet these would be "obvious" schools to apply to for entrepreneurship. Would it raise eyebrows for me to not apply to those top schools (IE maybe I don't take my career goals seriously)? Basically, is a desire to stay in a certain region coupled with personal ties fine?
