I am on the waitlist at a school and have drafted a letter with some updates, continuing interest comments, etc.

The school has asked to receive all written correspondence via email.

These might be dumb questions, but...
- What should be the subject line of the email?
- Should my letter be copied and pasted into the body of the email or be included as an attached document in true letter format (address of recipient at top, etc.)?
- If attachment is the way to go, what should I write in the body of the email?

Many thanks!

Hi

Here, you should be sharing new story with Adcom (any value added experience you have had after you interviewed with Adcom, any significant achievement which justifies admission offer).
In the body of the mail - write in 2-3 crisp sentences about "what changed in your profile" - this story should be concise and recipient should get genuninely interested in knowing further.
Thats where the word doc comes - do write your story in 200-300 words, please avoid repeating what was already shared in the application earlier.
