Andrea... I know I could be wrong... but this is how i re-arranged E, while attempting this question...

All X (Sonnets) are Y( short poems)
some X(Sonnets) are Z(characterized by pluralism)
some Y(short poems) are Z( pluralistc)

its seems parallel to the orignal sentence...
moreover "morally reprehensible" seemed parallel to "pluralism" , both of them seem to be some property of advertising and sonnets respectively!!
