final bill to be paid = 480 - (25% of 480) = 480 - 0.25*480 = 360
8 friends equally pay this amount. So one friend pays 360/8 = $45

Here we have:

Without discount contribution per head

\(25\%\) discount \(=\dfrac{60}{4}=15\)

With discount contribution per head \(=60 - 15 = 45\)

Therefore, C
