Suppose 7 monkeys take 7 minutes to eat 7 bananas. How many monkeys would it take to eat 70 bananas in 70 minutes?
(A) 70
(B) 49
(C) 35
(D) 7
(E) 1

it takes 7 monkey minutes to eat 1 bananas

to eat 70 bananas it takes 490 monkey minutes

if it has to finish in 70 minutes we need 490/70 = 7 monkeys

Always borrow money from a pessimist, he doesn't expect to be paid back.
