Say the total no. of videos rented = x;

Thus, no. of comedy videos = 70% of x = 0.7x;

We have to get the value of 0.7A.

Remaining videos = x – 0.7x = 0.3x

=> A + 5A = 0.3x

x = 6A/0.3

=> 0.7x = (6A/0.3)*0.7 = 4.2A/0.3 = 14A

Correct answer: D

Hope this helps!
