Option A :- Incorrect
This option makes the sentence sound like an ongoing action and makes it look as if it is happening at the moment meaning the sentence is wrongly constructed.

Option B :- Incorrect
The adverb because is not a suitable word to begin a sentence.

Option C :- correct
Grammar well constructed follows syntax and the verbs are in parallelism.

Option D :- Incorrect
Due to here is an awkward construction and needs to modify a noun and not an action.
Past progressive tense used here.

Option E :- Incorrect
The use of last participle verdict makes it look like the action has occurred in time past.
