distance \(=\) rate \(\cdot \) time

distance / rate \(=\) time

\(\dfrac{8}{55} \cdot 60=\dfrac{96}{11}=9\) minutes

\(\dfrac{8}{35}=\dfrac{96}{7}=14\) minutes

\(14-9=5\) minutes
