There are 19 batters on a baseball team.Every batter bats right handed only, left handed only,or both right handed and left handed. How many of the 19 batters bat left handed?

1.7 of the batters bat right handed but do not bat left handed.
2.4 of the batters bat both right handed and left handed.
Resilience is a trait that manifests in an individual when he/she faces consistent failures motivating them to succeed in the end.

IMO A

*I solved this using the double set matrix method that Brent explained in a different post. Many thanks to him if he's reading this.

Thanks.

Statement 1) 7 of the batters bat right handed but do not bat left handed.

This will give us the total batters who are left handed only plus those who are both. i.e. 19 - 7 = 12.
Sufficient!!!

Statement 2) 4 of the batters bat both right handed and left handed.

This just gives the overlap figure but no information about the left handed only. Not Sufficient!!!

Answer A.
