DS Question : OG 10 - Q96

Hi, can any one explain the answer for the following DS question

If P and Q are each circular regions, what is the radius of the larger of these regions?

(1) The area of P plus the area of Q is equal to 90Ï€

(2) The larger circular region has a radius that is 3 times 3 Times the radius of the smaller circular region.

OA is C

I think the answer should be A

Here's why

1. Let the radius of smaller region be 'r' and larger region be "R"

so.. according to (1) πR^2 + πr^2 = 90π

which gives R^2 + r^2 = 90 , only combination that can satisfy would be r = 4 and R= 9 ..hence answer should be A maybe i am missing something..

Is it stated in the question stem that radius got be in integers?. If not then 9 and 3 are not the only possible values. There are many such possibilities if you consider any real number
