The following addition table is given

f---()---()---()

what is the value of m+n

1) d+y = -3

2) e+z = 12

Please let me know how you come with the conclusion

From the table
d+z=m
e+y=n
We need to find m+n = d+z+e+y

Statement 1
-----------
d+y = -3 not sufficient since we dont have the values
of z and e

Statement 2
-----------

e+z = 12 not sufficient since we dont have the values of d and y

Combing 1 and 2,
we can find m+n

Hence C
