If zt<-3, is z<4?
1) z<9
2) t<-4
1) we know z must be <9, but it does not state if it is <4; so n.s.
2) z(-4)<-3
z>12 - so we know that z is not <4; hence B is suff...
Is the reasoning correct?

I think the answers is E to this problem.
Stmt I)
z<9
zt<-3
z=8 t =-5/8 z<4 is false
z= 3 t=-2 z<4 true
INSUFF
Stmt II
z=7 t=-5 z<4 false
z=3 t = -5 z<4 true
INSUFF
Combined they stil will be INSUFF
E)

Is the reasoning correct?
its given t < -4, so u cant plug t = -4 and ans the question.
also, lets say t = -5, then z(-5) < -3 or z > 3/5. It will not be 15. I hope you understand my point.

If zt<-3, is z<4?
1) z<9
2) t<-4
Main statement:
zt<-3. Divide both sides by t
t>0 then z<-3/t
t<0 then z>-3/t
(1)
z<9
INSUFF
(2)
t<-4
t<0 then z>3/4,
INSUFF
(1)(2)
3/4 < z <9
still INSUFF
E
1) z<9
2) t<-4
Main statement:
zt<-3. Divide both sides by t
t>0 then z<-3/t
t<0 then z>-3/t
(1)
z<9
INSUFF
(2)
t<-4
t<0 then z>3/4,
INSUFF
(1)(2)
3/4 < z <9
still INSUFF

Is the reasoning correct?
zt = -5 < -3
what if Z = 5 and t = -5
zt = -25 < -3
so Z can be less than or greater than 4
Hence, E
