How to solve this.

Cant S and t be the same points? Ans also Cant S and t be opposite points of equal magnitude?

s and t cannot be the same points because in the question it says s and t are two different numbers.

Also according to st 1 the diff between s and 0 is the same as the diff between t and 0. this is possible only if the numbers are same but with different signs (eg, 2 & -2, 11&-11) SuFF

Statement 2 just says that 0 lies between s and t i.e. if one of them is positive the other is negative. it doesn't tell us anything about the values of s & t - INSUFF
