In triangle JKL angle j is 30,angle k is 60, what is the length of segment JL?
(1) JK = 10
(2) KL = 5[/img]

It's a 30-60-90 so knowing any side allows you to solve for any other side.

Answer D.

Properties of triangles. The side opposite the 30 degree angle is x, the side opposite the 60 degree angle is x*sqrt(3), the hypotonuse is 2x.

In this case, x=5. JL=5*sqrt(2).

Draw out the triangle.
