Hey guys-

My exam is in two weeks, and I've covered pretty much everything except the dry erase board and pen. Should I bother buying a set and practicing with it? How much of a difference is it actually going to make? Thanks in advance.

It really depends on the person. To me, pad and marker doesn't make any difference. I didn't feel uncomfortable by using them for the first time in the real exam. Some people may want to get used to those things before the real exam.

It will not make much of a difference. All you need to do is practice your CATs with an A4 sheet and pen. FYI, I drew a small 5*6 grid on the top right corner of each sheet. I would use this to eliminate choices on problems in which I was not able to immeditely arrive at the answer.

NB: On the actual test, I drew this grid on the top right corner of each sheet before the test started i.e. during the school selection section.

It's pretty much like the regular notepad, and with 12 pages front and back, it will be hard to use them all. The only issue I had with the pad is having ink all over my hands.

And the pens keep on running out! So every now and then you should try and remember to put the caps on the pens.

If you're a lefty (left handed) it might be a problem since the ink doesn't stick to the pad very well. For me, just knowing that the pad was going to be plastic sheets and that I would use a pen was enough to prepare me.
