Hi Eric,

I am unable to download the flash cards.Once i click on the link provided it gets saved as a zipped file with .gz extension.
Later i tried opening with Adobe reader but it seems that the format is not supported.
Does it work with any specific version of IE/Adobe reader?

Thanks.

Let me ask my engineering guru, DavidP, to check this out. You guys may have uncovered a bug!

I just did some testing on my side though and I'm downloading the files just fine. I'm using Chrome on a Mac, but this should work on any browser/any operating system.

Ah, I think I might know what the problem is--I replicated the issue on my side too just now.

The Flashcards file is relatively large, more than 1MB. If you try to open the file before it has completely finished downloading, then you will get an error like that. Let me know if this solves the issue.

Hi Eric,

I downloaded the file and only when it got saved successfully on my PC , i tried opening it.
Also, when i tried unzipping the file , it prompted me with a name "gmatflashcards."(note the dot in the end) Initially i saved it with the default name but later tried appening "pdf","doc"(notepad and wordpad were also the options i tried) , but was still unable to open the file.

Urgh, this is annoying! Really sorry about this inconvenience, I passed this issue along to David (my tech guru partner) to debug. We'll try to resolve this ASAP.

Hi All,

Sorry about the problems that you've been having trying to download the flash cards. Eric and I have been unable to reproduce the problem on our end. So it's a bit hard to debug the issue. I was wondering if any of you would be willing to let us "watch" you as you try to download the flashcards. We can watch your computers via a web/video teleconference if you let us.

Please let me know if you're open to helping us on this one. Thanks!

David

On page 5 of the gmat flash cards, the pronoun reference error is mentioned, but is there any answer to the correct one for that, or do we need to do that on our own..

Could you please clarify this for me , Eric
