GMAT Strategy

Do these question sets contain problems from GMAT prep? I donyt want to see explainations for GMAT Prep problems before I attempt them.

Thanks papgust for the upload... I was just trying a few out and I stumbled upon one question for which I do not agree with the answer...
1. Every political philosopher of the early twentieth century who was either a socialist or a communist was influenced by Rosa Luxemburg. No one who was influenced by Rosa Luxemburg advocated a totalitarian state.
If the statements above are true, which one of the following must on the basis of them also is true?
(A) No early-twentieth-century socialist political philosopher advocated a totalitarian state.
(B) Every early-twentieth-century political philosopher who did not advocate a totalitarian state was influenced by Rosa Luxemburg.
(C) Rosa Luxemburg was the only person to influence every early-twentieth-century political philosopher who was either socialist or communist.
(D) Every early-twentieth-century political philosopher who was influenced by Rosa Luxemburg and was not a socialist was a communist.
(E) Every early-twentieth-century political philosopher who did not advocate a totalitarian state was either socialist or communist.

I think the answer should be D. Any explanation on why the answer is A?

As i mentioned in my first post in the thread, some questions may not contain explanations. If you would like to see the explanations for those questions, try searching in BTG or elsewhere (just google!). You will definitely find a good explanation.

As far the OA's are concerned, 99% of the question's OAs are legitimate in my opinion because the OA's were confirmed by GMAT experts and high-scorers. If you don't agree with the OA, please post the question in a relevant folder (Critical Reasoning). Please do not post the question here.

Thanks for these questions guys, really high quality stuff.

I managed to do the Kaplan Advanced Prep Quantitative sections with little difficulty, but the questions attached here are much more of a challenge. Are these representative of the kinds you would get tested on by the GMAT?

Well, these questions were taken from BTG (comprises of multiple sources). Studying any source of quant questions will not harm your GMAT prep. But yes, most of the questions are representative of GMAT.

Well, i was only looking for difficult questions when i was preparing. So does most of the ppl here.

Guys, as the author of the document has mentioned be wary of the solutions. Remember to cross check them online, specially the ones you strongly feel about. I have come across a few that had the wrong OA.

Overall this is a nice compilation!
