Depends. Have you taken any GMATPrep and what are your results, and also what is your score goal.
Hi,
I have given GMAT test on July 15, 2010 and unfortunately could score only 660 (Q-49, V-31).
My Target score: 700+.
In my practice test, I was scoring on and avg 690 (range: 660-730).
Please suggest, I need to retake within a month.
Thanks

You're like me it sounds like. I have similar stats.mbaabroad2011 wrote:Hi,

You need to practice your Verbal. I have a more balanced score numerically but I suck at Math and can't really score higher than 44 on the real test. I know it's pathetic.
Both sections can be worked on IMO but I think Verbal the results will be faster than math.
Yeah, you need to go over all the OG stuff. But if you buy 0G11 don't buy the OG 1st Edition study guides because they are already contained in the OG11. But there is not the same overlap between OG12 and OG 2nd edition study guides.
And if you are really really targeting 700+, I would wait longer than 1 month. Why risk the chance of cramming and get another 660 or 680.
I would keep studying till you are getting well over 700 on MGMAT practice tests and similarly on GMATPrep, and you never see another 600 score in practice.
As you might know, the real test is harder (mostly because of experimental questions but still they can throw off your rhythm). So I would try to build up enough of a cushion so that when I do take the test, even on a bad day I can still pull off a 700. For me that means my goal now is to get at least 730 on any practice test.
