All negative slopes must atleast pass through quads 2, and 4. All positive slopes must atleast pass through 1 and 3.

(A) works b/c its a (-) slope and passes through quad 2.

(B) doesn't work b/c equation of line can be y = -6 and it never has to pass through quad 2.
