2 months is a bit tight, but may be enough depending on how much work you need.

For study strategies, you can look at the "I just Beat the GMAT" subforum, where people who have succeded have posted lots of great debriefs.

I think the key to improving is to study smart, and to study hard. For instance, if you divide your study into individual topics, you can track your performance on any one topic and quickly adapt your study to your needs. I split my study into 14 Verbal and 16 Quant topics (I think).
