So..... on the Manhattan GMAT text book, I was going over advanced equation strategy and there is one example that I can't get my hands around and was wondering if anyone could help me understand.

I understand the start to Factor part....... but I don't understand how they get to the final part...

m^n(1-m^-1) -------------------as m-¹=1/m

= m^n(1- 1/m)


m^n(1- 1/m)

= m^n{(m-1)/m }

= m^n^/m {m-1}

= m^n-1(m-1)
