Let the cost price = 100.

Marked price = 100 + (15% of 100) = 100+15 = 115.

Price with a discount of 20% = 115 - (20% of 115) = 115 - 23 = 92.
Loss = (cost price) - (discounted price) = 100-92 = 8.
Loss percentage = loss/cost = 8/100 = 8%.

The correct answer is A.

Let, Cost = 100

Marked Price = 100+15% of 100 = 115

After discount price = 115-20% of 115 = 115 - 23 = 92

Loss = (92-100)*100/100 = 8%

Answer: option A
