I submitted around 12/1 and just got the ding e-mail. Pretty stunned since i thought i had a strong app and given the quick turnaround time, i assumed that it would be an invite. I guess this means that my profile is fundamentally flawed. Worried that this means i have little hope for the other top programs i'm applying to. Devastated right now.
Think positively. Probably the school was not confident that such a strong student like you will join them. So instead of wasting their time and a seat, they choosen not to consider you.
Atleast I believe that way and I have my reason for that.
If the school care to give a sensible and personal reply then you do not have any negative feeling about the school. However, when the so called arrogant schools shows their sheer arrogance, it gives a negative feeling.
You never know I may one day decide on a billion dollar grants to some B school or my companies recruitments. Let's part away professionally. It's very simple, schools have many students to choose and I too have too many schools to choose!!
