This one is pretty simple...

many of the dioxins is correct..

Now between D and E.

D gets eliminated because it does not specify what North Americans are exposed to..?

E is the best answer!

I think it is clear from D that exposed to is referring back to dioxins.

Any other reason why D is wrong?

Usage of AND is not required. AA concluded only 1 thing not 2

report by the American Academy has conclueded that many of the dioxins that are currently uncontrolled and North Americans are exposed to come

Above statement states that AA concluded 2 things .. which is not correct.

thats why D is wrong

IMO E

"dioxins": countable. Thus, options with "much" eliminated

Out of D&E. D is awkward and verbose.

Somewhere i read
You can say he knows a few driving skills (now here here it refers to number of skills such as can he turn properly, can he park in a box)

You can also say
He is skillful in driving

now here it does not refer to number and hence uncountable

here it is just like saying 'many of the different bee species '

SC gurus if i have understood things wrongly please correct me

E

here we are taking about different kinds (types) of dioxins

We can say much of the dioxin presents in the air.
here we are taking about dioxin level.. "dioxin" --> uncountable

many of dioxins present in the air.
--> dixoins -- countable.
