I took my second practice CAT (Retook GMATPrep Test 1) and got a score of 610, an improvement of 40 points. A key problem that I seem to face is switching over from one topic to another and keeping focus. Moreso, RC, CR and SC, all have different strategies; so, I tend to perform poor when the problem types are mixed. However, if I solve 20 SC Qs in OG at one go i'll get a decent score. The same problem I face in Quants. When the questions are mixed, I tend to do goof ups especially in DS.
I guess I'll learn with practice. I plan to give practice tests for individual sections so that I get comfortable with switching over nice and easy, before I take my 3rd CAT. Do you recommend any alternative approach...?
