Hi,
To yield 4 - (1,3),(2,2),(3,1) --> 3cases
To yield 6 - (1,5),(2,4),(3,3),(4,2),(5,1) -->5 cases
favorable cases = 3+5 = 8
Total number of outcomes is 6*6 = 36
So, probability = 8/36 =
2/9
Cheers!

Total no. of events = 36

No. of favorable events = 8

when the dice are (1 and5) (5 1) (4 2)(2 4)(3 3) (1 3) (3 1)and (2 2) so 8 ways

Probability = 8/36 = 2/9

Total possible pulls = 6*6 = 36

4 can be pulled 4 ways = 1,3-3,1-2,2-2,2
6 can be pulled 6 ways = 1,5-5,1-2,4-4,2-3,3-3,3

10/36 = 5/18
