I want to know what was ur problem??
1)Time limit(couldn't answer all the questions) OR
2)Got lots of answers incorrect(Due to wrong concepts/silly mistakes/calculation mistakes)

For concept building in PS,I would say refer to the OG solution approaches.
If still you do not feel confident,you can refer to the Manhattan GMAT guides for the weak topic.

Also,in DS for time saving,do not solve the questions all the way-check for sufficiency and leave it there only(Lots of ppl make the mistake of completely solving the ques. leading to wastage of time and eventually some questions remaining unattempted)

So how did ur CFA level-1 go??

losid you scored a fair amount in the Quantiative Diagnostic Test. It seems from your score you are from maths background and you are very strong in maths..
Just go through some summary of the formulae and concepts for 3-4 days that would be much to refresh ur mind .and then start solving all the questions from the OG..
I also think you be having problem with VR , SC and RC as u have got well inmaths part..so try to give more time to english..you would surely cross 700...

In brief, timing was not a problem given that time is unlimited. The problem was that most of the concepts were completely forgotten - I do not do equations or geometry at work so this is much outdated for me.

My CFA level 1 is 5 june 2010, so a long way to go!
I will feed you back more once I start GMAT preparation properly after the CFA in June.

I have now done the Diagnostic test for the Verbal part:
- VR = 16 Excellent
- SC = 11 Above Average
- RC = 12 Above Average

If we add:
- PS = 14 Average
- DS = 17 Above Average

That leaves me with a fairly mixed diagnostic result!

In the light of these diagnostics, can anyone give me a fairly rough guesstimate of how long I will need to prepare for the GMAT to get 700+??
