(E) is the official answer.

What's wrong with the original sentence? It says: "Despite no proof that the consumption of any particular foods reverse hardening of the arteries..."

But we should say "consumption reverses."

Answer choice (E) solves the problem by adding the word will. It becomes: "...consumption of any particular food will reverse hardening of the arteries..."

What answer choice did you pick? Or what answer choices are you confused about?
