I know this has been answered bsfore but have specific doubt
Please explain how Choice E corrects the S-V agreement(highlighted )

Also in incorrect choices A and C, there is another split (tense).
We need "CAN" here rather than "COULD" as mentioned in these 2 choices.

one more way to eliminate answer options:
use of "foods" is wrong.
Only E uses it correctly.
