Demonstrative pronouns are the pronouns THIS, THAT, THESE and THOSE.

As a rule, a demonstrative pronouns replace noun-phrases.

eg.
The work the that you're doing looks difficult.
THAT looks difficult.

While the broader subject of pronouns is tested in GMAT SCs (at least a couple of times), demonstrative pronouns are not too common.

Hi Nitin,

The MGMAT SC book should walk you through the major grammar rules on the GMAT. The GMAT tests a handful of major grammar rules, some minor ones and a bunch of idiom and usage rules. As a category, pronoun rules tend to focus on pronoun-noun agreement and pronoun ambiguity. As a rarer issue, sometimes the issue of redundancy is tested.

If you get the feeling that your current resources aren't properly teaching you the material, then you might need to invest in some additional resources.
